Donna Roberti Obituary

Donna Lee Roberti, aged 83, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 5, 2025, in Bethlehem, PA. Donna was born on July 27, 1942, in Easton, PA, to the late Thomas and Betty (Ritter) Joella. Donna's entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as she excelled in her role as a partner and co-owner of Van Village in Nazareth, PA. The company opened in 1977 and was the first Custom Van Conversion shop of its kind in the area, servicing the public as well as dealerships. Her business acumen and innovative ideas left an indelible mark on the industry and provided her with a platform to foster connections and contribute to her community in meaningful ways. Beyond the world of business, Donna's passion for animals was the hallmark of her life. She devoted countless hours to animal rescue and welfare, ensuring the safety and placement of animals in need. Donna's heart was especially full when she was fostering animals, providing them with a temporary sanctuary filled with love and care. Her dedication extended to the breeding of Rhodesian Ridgebacks and Poodles, breeds she admired for their grace and loyalty. Donna's love for nature was reflected in her vibrant gardens, which were a source of joy and tranquility for her and all who visited. Her green thumb brought forth an array of colors and fragrances that captured the essence of each season. She is survived by her loving daughter, Laurie Oxford of Easton, who will forever cherish her mother's memory and the lessons of kindness and resilience she imparted. Donna's legacy will also live on through her beloved grandson, Ryan Schmauder, and her adored great-grandchildren, Sera, Xavier, and Emma Schmauder, who brought immense joy and laughter to her life. Donna's brother, Ronald Joella of Pen Argyl, will hold dear the bond they shared and the memories they created together. Services: At the request of the family, no services will be held.
