Doris Czaplinski Obituary
Doris Czaplinski, 86, of Allentown, PA, formerly from Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on October 25th, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Doris was born on September 6th, 1939 in Bayshore, Long Island, New York to Doris Speidel-Eaton and Harold Eaton, Jr. She grew up in Lindenhurst, Long Island, New York and was raised by her loving grandparents, Ida and Harold Eaton, Sr. from the age of 8. She was a fashion model in Manhattan during her high school teen years. Doris married her childhood sweetheart, Charles Czaplinski, on April 5th, 1959.
Doris is predeceased by her husband, Charles, her son, Eric Jon and her granddaughter Destini Lee Czaplinski.
Throughout her life Doris was known for her love and devotion to her family and friends. She loved animals, especially cats and horses.
Doris' children, family relatives, neighbors and friends will always remember her for the extraordinary amount of love and hospitality she gave from her heart to anyone who came into our home, especially during the Christmas holiday. season. She could never do enough to please people.
Doris spent her early years in marriage supporting her children's after school activities including the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Swimming, Little League. She was a Catechism teacher as well. She had an extraordinary talent for knitting and crocheting.
During her retirement years, Doris and her husband, Charles, maintained full time residency in Bradenton, Florida. They both traveled extensively around the world throughout Europe, Canada, and visited approximately 33 states including Alaska and Hawaii. Doris loved taking cruise vacations.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Diane Glander and son in-law, Randy Kulzer. She is also survived by her son, Craig Czaplinski, daughter in-law, Urszula, her daughter Nicole Hall and son in-law, Paul. Doris is also survived by her grandchildren, Leeann Barlow, Kristin Ruscitti, Kristin's husband, Larry, Douglas Glander, Jr., Douglas' wife, Jenny, Kelly Heard, Kelly's husband, Jonas, Joseph and Naomie Hall, Michal Bzdek, Michal's wife, Lizzie, Szymon Bzdek, and Szymon's wife, Schennel.
Doris is also survived by many great grandchildren including Benjamin, Parker and Ryan Barlow, Kaleb and Hailey Ruscitti, Nora and Dylan Glander, Sophia, Scarlet, Lucas, Jackson, and Leah Heard, Jayce and Wesley Bzdek, Adassa and Brixton Bzdek.
A celebration of Doris' life will be held on Saturday, November 1st, 1:00 pm, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 1629 Hamilton Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania, 18102. Doris will receive her final resting place along side her husband, Charles, on November 5th, 2025, 1:00 pm. at Manasota Memorial Park, Sarasota, Florida. A brief family ceremony will be held graveside prior to her interment. www.BKRFH.com
