Douglas Craig Bowerman

Douglas C. Bowerman, 75, of Nazareth, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Moravian Hall Square in Nazareth. He was the beloved husband of Roseann (Imperato) Bowerman with whom he would have shared 50 years of marriage on June 7th. Born in Flushing NY, he was a son of the late Edwin R. and Jessie (Wilderson) Bowerman. He attended Rutgers University and worked at Buffalo Homes for many years and later was a partner in Building Arts Group for several years and then was the building operations manager for the Allentown Art Museum for 17 years retiring in 2014. Doug, led an active life. He served on the board of the Lenape Historical Society, was a Bee Keeper for many years and enjoyed sailing and traveling. He visited many places such as Mexico, Belize, Japan, India, Israel, Central America, Colombia, Peru, and was a student of the Spanish language. He was a member of the Spiritual Assembly of Bahai's of Bethlehem Twp. Survivors: In addition to his wife Roseann, he is survived by his sons, David Bowerman (Shannon) of Mertztown, Jordan Bowerman (Kathleen McKeever) of Ashville NC; brother, Daniel Bowerman; sister, Susan Corl; sister in law, Shelia and 1 grandson, Liam. He was also preceded in death by a brother Jeffrey Bowerman. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation This Sunday, June 1st, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and on Monday June 2nd, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM all at the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Bethlehem.
