Eileen Ockenhouse Obituary

Eileen M. (Bush) Ockenhouse passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on March 20, 1947, in Bethlehem, Eileen was a lifelong source of joy, compassion, and quiet strength to all who knew her. A graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, Eileen remained deeply rooted in her faith and attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her son, Richard Ockenhouse, and found great comfort and pride in the close bonds she shared with her extended family. Eileen held a special place in her heart for her cousins Karen Metzger and her husband Richard, Louis Shamenek and his wife Karen, Carol Halkins Kovaleski, and Mary Lou Chicoti and her husband Al; brother-in-law Gary and sister-in-law Beverly and their families. Eileen is now reunited with her beloved husband, Richard Ockenhouse; her son, Eric Ockenhouse; her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Bush; and her sister, Maryellen Bush. Though she will be deeply missed, Eileen's legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery 1851 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18017.
