Ellwood Heimbach Obituary

Ellwood D. Heimbach, Jr., died Thursday September 25, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus. He was the husband of the late Betty (Leabold) Heimbach. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Ellwood D. Sr., and Minerva (Weinstein) Heimbach. Ellwood was a member of United Christ Church in Bethlehem for many years. He worked as a pressman for Associated Rubber in Quakertown for over 45 years before retiring. Ellwood loved hunting, especially deer, and spending time at the cabin that he shared with friends and family. He bowled on a league in the former Ukrainian Club in Allentown. Surviving is his daughter Susie Heimbach, granddaughter Sapphire M. Heimbach, sister Florence Wilson, extended family and his cat "Mimi." There will be a calling period from 12:30- 1:00 pm, Friday, October 3, 2025 at St. John's Union Mickley's Cemetery on Eberhart and MacArthur Roads Whitehall, PA, 18052. Graveside services will follow at 1pm at the cemetery. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.brubakerfuneralhome.com.
