Frances Jacobs Obituary

Frances Jacobs, 86, of Easton, PA, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025. She was raised in Oakland, NJ. Later, Frances and her husband, Arthur, moved to Wantage, NJ, where they spent 50 years, Born February 22, 1939, in New York City, NY, she was a daughter of the late John and Santa (Durant) Haddock. She and her husband, Arthur Herbert Jacobs, celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on August 2, 2025. Frances graduated from Ramapo High School, Class of 1957. She was a dedicated loving wife and mother. Over the years, Frances was employed by various companies with her vast office skills. She was very artistic, enjoyed making ceramics, dancing the waltz with her husband, and square dancing. She loved bowling and traveling to Hawaii. Frances was a cat lover. She was of the Catholic faith. Frances was a member of the Red Hat Society and Sussex Spinners Square Dancing Club. Surviving in addition to her loving husband, Arthur, are four children, Susan Frances McCoy and her husband Rick, of North Ogden, Utah, Sherrie J. Van De Moere and her husband Donald, of Stoneville, NC, Arthur Francis Jacobs and his wife Shelley, of Williams Township, PA and Scott J. Jacobs and his wife Tina, of Wantage, NJ; two brothers-in-law, Albert Jacobs, of Virginia and Coby Jacobs, of Florida; 12 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 4pm Thursday, September 25, 2025, in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 602 W. Berwick Street, Easton. Viewing Thursday 3-4pm in the funeral home.
