Frances E. Johnson

Frances E. Johnson, 90, of Allentown, formerly of East Stroudsburg, PA, passed away on September 5, 2025 at home. She was the wife of the late Oscar Johnson. Frances was a homemaker. Prior to that, she was a housekeeper at various Pocono Mountain Resorts. Born in East Stroudsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace L. (Predmore) Tanner. Survivors: Children: Michael L. Brunner and his wife Joann of Northampton, Shirley Winters of Allentown, Grace Winters wife of Brian of Scot Run, PA, Thomas Swink of Allentown, Robin Swink of Allentown, Lynne Swink of Allentown and Tracie Brunner wife of Randy of Promisedland, PA, Sister: Carole Halstead of Dillsburg, PA, Brother: Edward Tanner, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home 16th and Hamilton Sts. Allentown. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 3:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
