Frances Miller Obituary

Frances J. Miller, 81, of Allentown, passed away surrounded by loved ones at her residence on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Born in Delaware, Frances was the daughter of the late Sesto J. and Josephine I. She took great joy in being a mother and grandmother, cherishing the time spent with her family. Frances is survived by son Robert I. Miller Jr. and wife Jennifer Squillace-Miller of Jim Thorpe, daughters Michele A. Miller and husband David P. Roth of Northampton, and Karen A. Cornell and husband Brian E. Cornell of Raleigh NC. She is also survived by her sister Sylvia Gubbe and husband Larry Gubbe, brother-in-law Steve Strecky and wife Loretta Strecky, and sister-in-law Dorothy Lucernoni. Frances was predeceased by her siblings: Sesto "Sam" Lucernoni, Anthony Lucernoni, and Louise Strecky. Frances is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Christopher Cornell, Caitlyn Cornell, Nicholas Miller, and Rachael Miller. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 at Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown, PA 18106 at 11:00 AM. A Calling Hour will be held from 10-11 prior to the service. I had the pleasure of knowing Fran because she was my mom´s next door neighbor until my mom (Rose Kish) died in 2022. My mom loved when Fran visited her. She enjoyed their conversations and considered her a close friend. My dad (John) enjoyed Bob´s friendship too. I am very sorry for your loss.
