Francis Anderson Obituary

Francis J. Anderson, 69, was welcomed into heaven on January 30, 2025. Born in Camden, NJ on August 21, 1955, he was the beloved son to the late Francis and Lavina Anderson (nee Sacco). Frank was a devoted husband to his wife of 26 years, Doris Anderson (nee Anzalone) and loving father to daughter Lauren N. Anderson. He was a brother to Charles Weaver and Charlotte Foster (Jim), uncle to Eric, Christopher, and Mark, and a dear friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Frank grew up in Glenside and graduated Abington High School in 1974. He went on to continue his studies at Spring Garden College where he obtained a bachelor's degree in computer science. For 27 years he was employed at Unisys Corporation as a software engineer. He then went into business for himself, starting a mortgage company called Centre Square Mortgage Group. In his free time, Frank enjoyed traveling. He especially enjoyed his visits to New England, Florida, California, Ocean City, MD, and Sea Isle City, NJ. He was an avid baseball fan and played softball on several local teams. His favorite hobby was collecting Lionel "O" gauge trains. I´ve known Frank for 10 years-he was a regular in our education classes and often volunteered as a hair model. He will be truly missed, and my heart goes out to your family during this difficult time. He always spoke so highly of both of you, and though I feel like I know you well through his stories. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
