Gail Maier Obituary

Gail Monika Maier, 65, of Perkiomenville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Pottstown Hospital. Born October 3, 1959 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Nancy (Heidenreich) Maier. Gail was a resident and member of Helping Hands Community. She enjoyed the outings with the community. She liked going bowling in the winter and swimming in the summer. The dolphin tour was her favorite. Gail liked making crafts, singing, and working on puzzles. She loved to play Jenga with her brother Jeff. She gave happiness and love. Gail loved to laugh and so many people cared about her. She will be missed by all. Surviving is her sister Karen Maier; brother Fred Maier, husband of Beth; brother Jeffrey Maier; niece Elizabeth Shaffer, wife of Stephen; nephews Joseph and Jared Maier; and her great niece Sarah Shaffer. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 4:00PM-4:30PM at MStar Church (100 Limekiln Rd, Bechtelsville, PA 19505). The service will follow at 4:30PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands (415 Hoffmansville Rd, Bechtelsville, PA 19505) in Gail's name.
