George Berger Obituary

George G. Berger Jr., age 78 of Horsham, PA, passed away at Abington Memorial Hospital on January 31, 2025. He was born in Philadelphia; son of the late George Sr. and Doris Berger.
George was the beloved husband of Debbie, married for 40 years. He will be sadly missed by his sister Debbie Nebel ( husband Marty), his brother Paul Berger ( wife Martha), many nieces and nephews, his friends, neighbors, coworkers and all who knew him.
George was a retired painter. He was currently working part time for Giant Food store.
He enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for scuba diving in the islands, trying his luck at the casinos, and reflecting on his adventures at Woodstock in 1969. Most of all, he especially loved spending time with his family.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Philadelphia SPCA; 350 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134
His service and interment will be private.
