Geraldine Greenzweig Obituary

Geraldine M. (Walk) Greenzweig, 84, formerly of Main Street, Parryville, PA, died peacefully early Wednesday morning, September 24, 2025, at Forest Hills Nursing Center, Weatherly. She was the wife of the late Lester T. Greenzweig who passed in 2020. Born in Kunkletown, she was a daughter of the late Samuel T. and May A. (Gower) Walk. Geraldine was employed in the central supply department of the former Palmerton Hospital for over 42 years. She attended St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Parryville. Geraldine was a member of the Palmerton Red Hats. She enjoyed reading, camping, traveling, especially cruising. Survivors: Son, Kevin L. Greenzweig and fiancee, Sherry Reeser, of Tamaqua. Brother, Jerry L. Walk of Kunkletown. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Merle S. Walk. Services: Memorial Services 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235. Call, 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com. Contributions: May be made in her memory to St. Peter's U.C.C. Memorial Fund, 297 Centre Street, Parryville, PA 18244.
