Geraldine D. Wentzel

Geraldine "Gerry" D. Wentzel, 77, of Fleetwood, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Keystone Villa at Fleetwood in Blandon, PA. Born June 11, 1947, in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow M. Wentzel and Lillian E. (Wolf) Wentzel. Gerry was a 1965 graduate of Fleetwood Area High School, where she was recognized as an outstanding athlete. She went on to work for Fleetwood Bank, dedicating 35 years as manager of the bank's computer system. A lifelong and devoted member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Fleetwood, Gerry's faith was an important part of her life. She sang on the choir for many years. She is survived by her brothers, Darrel E. Wentzel and William C. Wentzel, as well as five nieces and nephews. A Sunday service dedicated to Geraldine's memory will be held at 10:00 AM on June 8, 2025, at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 26 W. Washington Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522. Inurnment will be private at Fleetwood Cemetery.
