Glenda J. Davidson, 70, of Allentown passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. She was the companion of Dennis Deemer also of Allentown. Born in Oglethorpe, GA, Glenda was a daughter of the late Harold and Ruby (Wheeler) Daniels.
She was an accomplished seamstress at Marys Fashions and other local textile mills. Most recently, she worked as a office clerk in shipping for Vitra - Fogelsville. Her talents in crafting extended to creating handmade blankets and quilts, a cherished tradition in her family. Beyond her work, Glenda found joy in solving puzzles, traveling to admire lighthouses along the east coast, and tending to her beloved rose bushes. Her compassionate heart and warm spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
She will be dearly missed by her children: Tara Hilbert and husband Troy of Slatington, Richard Davidson, III, and companion Marcia Weber of Lehighton; grandchildren: Jaclyn, Conner, Cheyenne and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren: Cameron, Connor, Carter and Gemma. sister: Alice Wooten and her husband Kenneth of Trenton, GA; many nieces and nephews. Glenda is predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 4 P.M. in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive - Bath, 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to call from 3 P.M. until the time of the service. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
