Isabelle Bigley Obituary

Isabelle F. Bigley, 88, of Easton, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in St. Luke's Hospital-Anderson Campus. Born August 8, 1937, in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward W. Troxell and Isabelle F. (DeRemer) Bellis. Her husband of 56 years, Roy S. Bigley, Sr., passed away January 4, 2013. Isabelle attended Easton High School. Years ago, she worked at the former Simon Silk Mill and Bushkill Park. Isabelle loved her family and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was a member of New Creation United Church of Christ, Palmer Township. Surviving are four children, Virginia C. Grube and her husband Gregory, of Bath, Vivian L. Chapkovich and her husband Randy, of Emmaus, Roy S. Bigley, Jr. and his wife Betsy, of Coplay, and Edward J. Bigley, Sr. and his wife Christy, of Easton; four grandchildren, John Chapkovich, Alyssa Grube, Rachelle Hart and Edward Bigley, Jr.; and four great-grandchildren, Garen, Quinn, Charlotte and Carter. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Troxell. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Easton Cemetery. The Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton, is in charge of arrangements. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
