James Coker Obituary

Jim Coker, 78, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025. He sold industrial packaging for 40 years, and often said, "If you enjoy what you do, you never work a day in your life!" Jim enjoyed golfing, and his monthly poker game with his buddies. He also spent many years traveling around the world with his wife, Midge, of 50 years. Jim is survived by his daughter, Lauren Coker, granddaughter, Fiona Russo, sister, Peggy Coker, and brother, Peter Coker. He was predeceased by his wife, Midge Coker, and his son, Jamie Coker. There will be no services. Donations can be made to the 6th Street Shelter, C/O Wendy Wright 219 N 6th St, Allentown, PA 18102.

Mr. Coker will always have a special place in my heart. From being my basketball coach, to just a solid - positive influence in my life. I have so many great memories with this family. Lauren, I´m so sorry for yet another loss. I truly can´t imagine. Just keep remembering, they´re not gone- they become something else. Sending my deepest condolences and love.
