James Michael "Jimmy" McDaid

James "Jimmy" Michael McDaid, 58, of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, passed away on February 25, 2025 at the University of Colorado Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. Born in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Constance D. (Doyle) McDaid of Jamison, Pennsylvania and the late James M. McDaid. He grew up in Warminster, PA and attended Nativity of our Lord and Archbishop Wood High School. He went on to continue his education at LaSalle University in Philadelphia before moving to Colorado in the early 90's. Jimmy loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping, fly fishing and spending time with his beloved black lab, Otis. He enjoyed getting off the grid and traveling far and wide across Colorado and Utah and discovering hidden gems. Despite living in Colorado for the past 30 years, he maintained his love for all his Philadelphia sports teams. Most recently he embraced his new career in property management where he became an integral part of a team managing properties in and around the Aspen, Colorado area. Jimmy is survived by his mother, Constance D. McDaid of Jamison, PA; brothers Patrick J. McDaid and his wife Peggy of Lower Macungie Township, PA, Brian C. McDaid and his wife Corinne of Rydal, PA and Kevin C. McDaid and his wife Stacy of Brielle, NJ, and nieces and nephews Patrick, Ryan, Brendan, Charlotte, Jake, Brynn, Julia, and Ella. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12 at 10 AM until his funeral mass at 11 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 605 Street Road, Warminster, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
