James Pintabone Obituary

James T. Pintabone, Jr., 74, of Pen Argyl, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 29, 2025. Born in Easton on August 7, 1951, Jim was the son of the late Clara (Palmisano) Ecker and James T. Pintabone. A proud, hardworking and tireless man, Jim made his living as a self-employed contractor, known for his dedication to his craft and his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. Jim lived life with a quiet strength and a great love for the outdoors. He found joy in hunting and fishing, and never passed up a good meal. He was also a lifelong and loyal fan of the Philadelphia Phillies. Above all, Jim was a devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his three sons, James T. Pintabone III, Michael B. Pintabone and his wife Dori, and Scott J. Pintabone and his wife Caroline. He took immense pride in his four grandchildren - Aidan, Bryson, Cayden, and Ayla - who brought light and laughter to his days. Jim also leaves behind his beloved companion, Carol B. Kalman, with whom he shared many cherished years. In keeping with Jim's wishes, there will be no formal services. His family asks that those who knew and loved him take a moment to remember his kindness, his quiet humor, and the simple joys he embraced throughout his life. I once asked Jim, "When are you going to retire?" He said, "Never! I love the people and would miss them to much." And that is everything a person needs to now about Jim.

Our condolences to Carol and Jim´s family. Jim was our contractor/go to person and friend for 28 years. We were first referred to him after discovering a leak around the chimney in our new home. Countless contractors including the builder were unable to identify the cause. Except for Jim. He skillfully identified and repaired the leak. We had an instant connection and he continued as our contractor for 28 years. After we moved to the Lehigh Valley he worked tirelessly at our home remodeling bathrooms, installing wainscoting, new roof and custom gutters etc. His workmanship was impeccable. We´re going to miss chatting with him about his hunting trips and of course his many kitty stories. Jim was one of a kind. We will miss his smile and humor. RIP Jim

Jim did a number of projects for me on my house. He was knowledgeable, kind, trustworthy and good at what he did. It was obvious he took pride in his work. He and Carol made a great team, both personally and professionally. I will miss Jim's humor, his integrity and his willingness to do whatever needed doing. My sincerest condolences to Carol and the family.

Jim was referred to us by a good friend to build a deck for us. He and his partner helper, Carol, did excellent work. We had great talks about hunting and family. It’s as if we knew each other forever. We will surely miss you Jim. God bless

Jim was one of the greatest guys I ever had the God Blessed pleasure of joining with as true family members. He was my "Forever Baby Brother " and I will pray for him everyday. I could have spent all my time with him. We hunted together, spent holidays together, and texted each other all the time. "I love you My Brother"♥❤ Love Sal Ferruggia.

I was so lucky to have known Jim for 28 years, and to have had him as my father-in-law for 21 of those. From the very beginning, he made me feel like part of the family. He and Mike spent countless hours working on our home together — building, fixing, and laughing along the way! We’ll miss him deeply and will always be grateful for the years we had with him! We love you Jim! ❤
