James Supeck Obituary

James R. Supeck, lovingly known as Jimbo, passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on May 28, 1958, in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late James and Barbara J. (Schaffer) Supeck. Jim was known for his kind heart, sharp wit, and deep devotion to family. He loved nothing more than being surrounded by those he loved. After becoming a father, he dedicated his life to his kids and later found immense joy in being a grandfather. In his younger years, Jim enjoyed camping, canoeing, and riding his Harley. Family vacations to Ocean City, Maryland were a cherished tradition. He often reminisced about his time at Camp Mohican, a place that left a lasting impression on him. Jim worked for over 25 years with the Pennsylvania Turnpike before retiring in 2017. A lifelong Bethlehem resident, he was a member of several local clubs, including the Bethlehem Volunteer Firemen's Home Association ("the Home"), the Jefferson Democratic Club, and the Northend Republican Club, where he loved socializing and catching up with friends. He is remembered for his sarcasm, his wisdom, and the way he brought humor into everyday moments. Above all, his legacy is one of love, loyalty, and laughter. Jim is survived by his son, JT Supeck and wife Sarah; his daughter, Starly Espinal and husband Ricardo; grandchildren Caleb Espinal, Olivia Rae Latham, and Kendra Kae Latham; sisters Sheri Helfrich (Alfred) and Lisa Zsilavecz (Steve); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Captain Robert Sean Latham, and his brother, Wayne Supeck. Services: A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service, from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com. Jim's warmth, laughter, and larger-than-life presence will be deeply missed-but never forgotten.

RIP my friend.
We had many good, bad funny and stupid memories together. So many as I write this they keep popping up in my memory. I will miss my friend.
