Jean Scerbo Obituary

Jean J. Scerbo passed away peacefully at home on April 9th, 2025. Jean was born on November 7th, 1962, in East Stroudsburg, PA to proud parents Janet May Frederick and Charles Wilson Smith Sr. She was married to the love of her life, Joseph William Scerbo for the past 47 years. She was blessed to have her daughters and sons Shannon and Patrick DeCanto, Stacie and Amadi Merkman, Tiffany and George Wardy and Hollie and Matthew Pawlikowski. She was a loving grandmother to Makenzie, Christian, Deondra, Anthony, Elijah, Quincy, Shayla, Dimitri, Aubree, Zion, Chase and Malakhi. She was also a great grandmother to Braxton and Peter. She leaves to mourn, her husband Joseph, her children, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her mother Janet Frederick, her sisters Jessica Domanowksi and Susan Vanwhy, brother Patrick Sullivan, along with nieces, nephews, family and friends. Jean is predeceased by her father Charles Wilson Smith Sr., brothers Robert Smith, Scott Domanowski, Charles Wilson Smith Jr. her grandson Mason, and stepfather William Frederick. There will be a viewing on Sunday April 13, 2025 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.
