Jeannette E. Armstrong

Jeannette "Jan" E. Armstrong age 77 of Effort, PA passed away August 11, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Pocono in East Stroudsburg, PA. Jan was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 24, 1948, daughter of the late William and Amy (Veigelo) Pampalona. Jan and her late companion Al co-owned A & J Pools in Brodheadsville, PA for many years. She was of the catholic faith. Jan had volunteered her time and talents at Operation Touch of Home. She is survived by her son: Michael Armstrong and spouse Samantha of Effort, PA, two grandchildren: Tyler and Lillian Armstrong. She is also survived by her companion: Bruce Zagor of Albuquerque, NM. In addition to her parents William and Amy, she was preceded in death by her companion: Albert "Al" Ruiz on November 10, 2023. Funeral services will be held 7 pm, Friday, August 29, 2025, at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 1426 Route 209, Gilbert, PA. Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 6 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
