Joann Alicia Koch

Joann Alicia Koch, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, at the age of 69, in the compassionate care of Lifepath in Northampton. Born on September 2, 1956, in Fountain Hill, Joann's life was a beautiful example of strength, positivity, and the ability to find happiness in every moment. She was the beloved daughter of the late Brinton and Beatrice (Hartzell) Koch. Although her parents preceded her in death, their legacy of love and kindness lived on through Joann. She is survived by her uncle, Harry Hartzell, Jr., and a host of loving cousins who, along with her devoted LifePath family, will miss her deeply. Joann had a zest for life and a love for fun that knew no bounds. She adored music and dancing, and her laughter often filled the room. She enjoyed bowling, mini-golf, and movie outings, and she looked forward to dining out and taking special trips to Dutch Wonderland, where her joy was pure and contagious. Her creative side came alive through coloring, especially when it involved her favorite subjects-animals and nature. She loved snapping photos, playing Connect 4, and sharing her delightful sense of humor with everyone around her. The color pink was her favorite, a perfect reflection of her warm and gentle personality. Those who knew Joann describe her as loving, kind, and endlessly funny-a woman whose courage and laughter made every day brighter. Her memory will forever remind her family and friends that joy can be found in even the simplest moments. To honor Joann's love of pink, those attending her funeral service are kindly asked to wear the color pink as a tribute to her spirited and beautiful life. Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the service.
