Jose E. Altamirano-Cruz

Jose E. Altamirano-Cruz, 38, of Allentown, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Jose was born in Potrerillos, Honduras, the son of (late) Jose E. Altamirano and survived by his mother Alba Guzman. Jose was a graduate of Dieruff High School, class of 2004. He was well known for his strong work ethic, love of the outdoors, and his passion for biking, fishing, and camping. Jose will be remembered for his ingenuity and creativity always building or fixing something with skills and heart. Jose is survived by his mother, Alba Guzman; his sons, Jaiden Guzman-Gibbs and Carmine Altamirano-Cruz; his sisters, Sandra Guzman and Iris Terry, wife of Charles. He was a loving uncle to his nephews and niece. Jose had many other family members and friends who loved him. A viewing will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamiton Streets, Allentown, followed by a service at 5:30 p.m. To plant Memorial Trees in memory of Jose E.
