Jose F. Cruz

Jose F. Cruz, 76, of Harleysville, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025. He was the cherished husband of Petra M. (Reyes) Cruz. Born July 23, 1949, in Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Antonio and Angela (Crespo) Cruz. Jose loved the friendly competition and excitement of bingo nights. He could often be found listening to his favorite music and sharing various songs with his family and friends. A devoted gardener, Jose took pride in planting flowers in his garden, filling his yard with color and beauty. A lifelong sports fan, he rarely missed a baseball game and enjoyed the thrill and drama of professional baseball and WWE wrestling. Above all, Jose especially loved spending time with his family and making memories with these pastimes for years to come. Jose will be remembered for his kind heart, easy smile, and the way he brought warmth and laughter into every room. He is survived by his children, Jose Miguel, Maritza Brader, Mercybell Best, Joann Sajous, Anthony Cruz, Francisco Cruz, Madeline Kamaratos, Luis Cruz, Ricardo Cruz, Rafael Cruz; an abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and five siblings. Relatives and friends may call between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00.
