Joseph T. Neary

Joseph T. Neary, age 77 of Albrightsville, PA passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 at Fritzingertown Senior Living Community in Drums, PA. Joseph was the loving husband of 46 years to Marion (Fernandez) Neary. He was born in New York, NY on February 24, 1948, son of the late Joseph and Veronica (Ryan) Neary. Joseph had worked as a computer technician for Verizon in New York, NY for 32 years, until retiring, He was a member of the Bell Atlantic Retirees Association, He served our country with dedication and courage in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was of the catholic faith and attended St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Lake Harmony, PA. We have been blessed with the presence of Joseph in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Marion of Albrightsville, PA, his daughters: Kelly Cifone of Nyack, NY Erin Wilson and spouse Adam of Brooklyn, NY and Shannon Neary of Albrightsville, PA. He was the loving grandfather to: Jordyn Cifone, Madison, Catilyn, Paige and Jamison Wilson. Joseph is also survived by a brother: Dennis Neary. He was preceded in death by a grandson: Adam Joseph Wilson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Lake Harmony, PA at a later date.
