Joseph Strubilla Obituary

Joseph J. Strubilla, 99, beloved husband of Maude Strubilla, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at his residence. Born in New Boston, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Veschia) Strubilla. Joe proudly served in the United States Army during World War II in the Armored Tank Division. He had a career as a Philadelphia union carpenter, and enjoyed woodworking in his spare time. He was an avid reader, loved working in his garden, and used his talents as a carpenter to build furniture and help family with home projects. His greatest pleasure came from spending time with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife Maude of 77 years, are his daughter and son in law MaryAnn and Tom Kulp; son and daughter in law Alan and Kathy Strubilla; son and daughter in law William and Mary Ellen Strubilla; and daughter-in-law, Ruth Strubilla. He was predeceased by his son Thomas. Joseph is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. On Tuesday, July 1, 2025 a memorial service will be held at Catagnus Funeral Home and Cremation Center, (711 North Franklin Street, Pottstown, PA 19464) Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Sharing of Remembrances. Burial will be private.
