Judith Jergensen Obituary

Judith Ann Jergensen, 83, of Lansdale, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Lansdale Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Stratford, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Andrew (Pocky) and Clara (Flood) Jergensen. Judy was an active member of Corpus Christi Church in Lansdale where she enjoyed teaching REC and serving as a eucharistic minister. She was also a member of HOPE, a group that would provide transportation to people in the community needing rides to appointments, and AID for Friends (now Caring for Friends) where she would help make, stock, and transport meals for those in need. She was also a member of the Merck Retiree Club and the Questers Bayberry #457 out of Warrington, a group that would help preserve, educate, and restore local PA historical sites. Judy loved baking, "digging in the yard," and traveling. Spending time at the beach with family and friends brought her great joy. Surviving are her children Michelle McGee, wife of James; Sharon Dozier, wife of Bruce; and Nicholas Florentino, husband to Carolyn (Carey); sisters Clare Stacy, and Laura Strauss; and 5 grandchildren (Melissa, Matthew, Joshua, Benjamin, and Robert). Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Andrew Jergensen, Ivar Jergensen, John Boyle and granddaughter Rose Marie Dozier. Visitation will be Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 9:30AM to 10:45AM at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00AM. Judy was my classmate at Lansdale Catholic (Little Flower) we stayed friends all these years. Of late, we would go to lunch once or twice a year, along with four or five of our closest classmates. We would always have fun together ..we would reminisce all our past adventures together..we traveled to England and had a blast we planned class reunions that were the best. I certainly will miss my dear friend Judy. In spite of all her ailments in recent years, Judy always would laugh in spite of it all,,she spoke with love about her family . I am truly blessed to be friends all these years. God bless you..I will truly miss your laughter and positiveness..and friendship.
