Judith LaDuca Obituary
Judith C. LaDuca, 86, of Easton, PA passed away in her sleep on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Born on February 25, 1939 in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Joyce (Hageman) Hamlen.
She graduated from Belvidere High School in 1957 and was employed as a sales clerk, bank teller, and a seamstress altering high end clothing as well as working at bridal boutiques. Her passion for round and square-dancing inspired her to open Judy's Custom Square Dance Apparel. With her self-taught talent for sewing, she would make her own clothing and provide alterations for whomever asked. Her biggest accomplishment were the hundreds of quilts she made for family, friends and as donations to various organizations. She also applied her talents sewing custom vestments and altar cloths for St Mary's, St Anthony's and St Joseph's churches where she also served a Cantor and Eucharistic Minister.
In her spare time, she enjoyed playing the piano, singing, art, crafting, traveling and camping.
Judith is survived by her husband, Samuel C. LaDuca; sons, John H. Finken, Jr. and his wife, Joanne of Easton, Scott A. Finken and his wife, Lindsey of New Hampshire, step-sons, Patrick LaDuca and his wife Beth of Easton, Steven LaDuca and his husband John Lombardo of Norristown, and James LaDuca and his wife Karen of Easton, step-daughter, Ann Marie Kummer of South Carolina; sister, Marsha Quinn; grandchildren, Meagan, Alyssa, Katie, Corey, Ian, Erin, Cassidy; great grandchild, Emma.
In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her grandson Matthew Finken, and brother, William Hamlen, Jr.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) An additional calling hour will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 8:15 A.M. to 9:15 A.M. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. in St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Ninth and Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
