Judith Ann Smith

Judith Ann Smith, 81, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at Walden III in Wind Gap, PA. She was the loving wife of the late Donald A. Smith. They celebrated 59 wonderful years or marriage together before his passing in 2020. Born on July 16, 1944, in Newton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Russell Padgett and the late Gladys (Conklin) Padgett. Judith was a loving homemaker all her life. She was a very family oriented woman with a strong faith. She always enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, whether it was Pinochle, Rummy, or Solitaire. Most of all, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family. She is survived by her six children; Laura Vivacqua and her husband Thomas, Duane Smith and his wife Nichole, Roger Smith and his wife Laura, Gregory Smith and his wife Lori, Jonathan Smith, Jodi Holden and her husband Randy; a brother, Russell Padgett Jr. and his wife Linda; a sister, Sandra Haney and her husband Richard; ten grandchildren, Jared, Kara, Jenna, Brittany, Courtney, Leeann, Dana, Jeffrey, Jacob, Reid; nine great grandchildren and one great grandson on the way; and her beloved cat, Callie. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Memorial services will follow at 2:30 PM with Pastor Seth Lippincott officiating. Interment of the ashes will follow the service in Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville.
