Karen Darling Obituary

Karen Darling, 76, of Retta passed away at the Embassy of Tunkhannock on Dec. 23rd. She was born in Medford Mass. On Feb. 18, 1948 and she was the daughter of the late George and Marion Coqueron Durell. She was married to Richard Darling for 57 years. She was a graduate from Medford High School and was a purchasing agent for Whipple Lumber Yard. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family. Karen was a member of the Retta Community Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher. Karen was a 37-year cancer survivor, and she loved everyone around her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons; Terry Darling and wife Lori of Springville, Chris Darling and wife Stacey of Utah, grandchildren; Brooke and Marty Bifano, Ashley and husband Michael Dixon, Ryan Darling, and a great granddaughter Aria Bifano Services will be private at the convenience of the family at the Retta Cemetery.
