Kathleen Goeke

Kathleen Goeke, 64, of East Stroudsburg, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, at home. She was the wife of William Goeke with whom she shared 38 years of marriage. Born on January 24, 1961 in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Virginia (Kearns) Reilly. Their careers took them through several cities including Springfield, MO, Chicago, IL, Thousand Oaks, CA, Fayetteville, NC, Detroit, MI and Cincinnati, OH before moving to Pennsylvania. Kathleen was an active member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Marshalls Creek, an avid supporter of AWSOM animal rescue, and regularly volunteered with the Middle Smithfield Township road clean-up crew. In addition to her husband, surviving are three children, Kelly Goeke Johnson of Blue Bell, PA, Matthew Goeke of South Chesterfield, VA, and James Goeke and his wife Janie of East Stroudsburg; and six grandchildren, Kayden, Jackson and Payton Goeke of East Stroudsburg and Lyla, Jayden and Hailey Johnson of Blue Bell, PA. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Holfelder. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, February 25th, from 5:00 to 7:00PM at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 26th, at 11:00am at St. John's Roman Catholic Church, 5171 Milford Road, East Stroudsburg with Rev. Gregory A. Reichlen as celebrant. Private burial will take place at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
