Kathy and I grew up together. Her sister, Shirley, and; my brother, Dale Levan, (Dale and Shirley H&W) raised Kathy for many years of her young life. Kathy and I played together as kids and in our teen years went through 'Beatlemania' together. She loved Ringo and I loved Paul. I was her Maid of Honor at her wedding. Kathy was a wonderful friend. I saw her go through so much in her life. She lost a son at around 1-2 years old due to a health issue. I remember how difficult and painful that was for her. She was so happy when her daughter, Shannon, came along; and, Shannon has been such a blessing to Kathy. Kathy was blessed with two grandchildren and talked about them often. Kathy was a kind and caring person her entire life. She cared for her husband when he was ill at the end of his life. She amazed me how she helped and cared for her sister, Shirley; and, my brother Dale at the end of their life. She was truly like a daughter them. I always admired Kathy for her caring heart and kind personality. I will truly miss my dear friend, Kathleen (Kathy) Good-Schaffer. Rest in Peace, Kathy.
