Kathy S. Yost

Kathy S. Yost, 49, of Orefield passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Allentown, July 29, 1976, Kathy was the daughter of James F. Yost, Sr. and Linda M. (Schuster) Yost of Orefield. A graduate of LCCC with a degree in nursing, Kathy was a proud and dedicated Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. She was a devoted mother to her children, a role that wholly fulfilled her life. All who knew her remember her as a vibrant soul who was full of laughter and loved the people in her life unconditionally. Survivors: In addition to her parents; triplet children, Emery R. Hurdle, Maddox O. Hurdle, Preston J. Hurdle all of Orefield; stepchildren Alea Hurdle, Bryce Hurdle, Faith Hurdle; siblings, James F. Yost, Jr. (Kim) of West Virginia, Jodi L Koch (David) of Alburtis, Chrissi A. Kent (John) of Orefield, Michael J.T. Yost (Jenelle) of Orefield; many nieces and nephews. Kathy also made a lasting impact on countless friends and loved ones in her life. Service: A memorial service to celebrate Kathy's life will be held at 4:00 pm. Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Family and friends may pay their respects from 2:00 pm. – 4:00 pm. prior to the service.
