Keith Burkhardt Obituary

Keith Burkhardt, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 69. Keith was born on September 8, 1955, to Doris (Palmer) and Morgan Burkhardt. A devoted father and grandfather, Keith was the heart of his family. His career spanned an impressive 40 years at Air Products. He is lovingly remembered by his sons Steven Burkhardt, Colin Burkhardt, and Gavin Burkhardt; his daughter-in-law Laura Burkhardt; and his cherished grandchildren Ada and Levi. He also leaves behind his best friend, golf buddy and brother, Scott Burkhardt. Keith's unwavering dedication to his family was evident in every aspect of his life-his greatest joy came from being surrounded by those he loved most. Keith was the definition of a true family man. His first priority was always the happiness and well-being of his children and grandchildren. Known for having a "dad-joke" ready for just about any situation, he had a unique ability to make others smile with his humor and lighthearted spirit. He found joy in traveling-especially during his trips to Maine-and loved sharing the fact that McDonald's in Maine sold lobster rolls. Golfing was another favorite pastime, as was cheering on his beloved Raiders with complete loyalty. Those who knew him will fondly remember taking shots of Don Julio together, hearing the familiar sound of his signature seal bark, and listening to him recount tales of his family history. Keith's legacy lives on through the memories he created with those closest to him-memories filled with laughter, love, and an enduring sense of togetherness. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him. Services: Private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.

Scott, Keith and I grew up across the street from each other on West and 16th Streets. I remember trading cards, playing baseball and football in the alley with Ed Dankanich, Craig Smith and Ed Swartley. Great times and great friends and sad to learn that Keith has passed. He will be missed.

Dear Steven, Laura, Colin and Gavin -

We're so heartbroken about Keith's passing. We've been close friends for over 40 years and fondly remember traveling with all of you years ago. We loved getting to hang with him at Casa Toro, and at our annual Christmas and Beerfest parties. He loved you all so very much - and always talked so proudly about Ada and Levi.

We will miss Keith deeply and remember him always. Our love and prayers go out to all of you.
