Kenneth Moyer Obituary

Kenneth "Ken" Moyer, 79, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 11, 1946, he was the son of the late Kenneth Edward and Shirley (Boehm) Moyer. For more than 36 years, he shared a life of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion with his wife, Julie-Ann (Wirth) Moyer. He was a proud father to Kenneth John Moyer and Joel Thomas Moyer, and a loving grandfather to Kenneth Joel, Alexis Mae, and Emily Rose. His family circle was made complete by his beloved canine companions, Maggie Mae and Soffe. Kenneth, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.

Dear Julie
I was deeply saddened to hear of Kens passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.
He served our country with honor and dedication, and that legacy of courage and commitment will not be forgotten. The sacrifices made by those in uniform-especially those who answer the call of the sea-speak to a rare kind of strength. Ken embodied that strength, and we are all better for having known him.
May you find comfort in the memories you shared and in the pride of his service. I hope you feel surrounded by love and support as you navigate this loss.
Fair winds and following seas to Kenneth Moyer.
With deepest sympathy,
Tom Rafferty

Ken was my brother-in-law, the husband of my sister Julie-Ann. Not having any brothers, he was truly like a real brother to me. I will miss him and grieve for our family´s loss. I hope God will especially look down on Julie-Ann and help her through this difficult time.
