Kenneth Yacoub Obituary

Kenneth Yacoub, 60, of Myrtle Beach South Carolina (formerly of Catasauqua) passed away on Saturday, Jan. 25th at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Aziz and Badria (Barber) Yacoub. He worked at Kellogg's warehouse, Lehigh Valley Hospital landscaping, and was the owner of IKE Professional Lawn Care before moving to South Carolina. A very social and outgoing person, he enjoyed vacationing and pickleball. He was an avid outdoorsman who liked hunting and fishing. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a cavalry scout. He is survived by his daughter Emily Yacoub of Deposit, NY (formerly of Catasauqua); brother Edward and his fiancée Kathy Kuehner of Northampton; sisters JoAnn Roscoe of Northampton and Annette Lisicky of Bethlehem; nieces, nephews and extended family. Services: viewing on Friday, Jan. 31st starting at 10:30 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown, Pa. 18102. Funeral service starts at 12:30 p.m., followed by entombment at Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. George Church.

My deepest condolences on Kenny's passing. He was such a sweet guy who always smiled and gave me a big hug when I would see him, like the last time he was back for a visit. He touched many lives, including mine and my boyfriend's, and we will miss him greatly.

I was saddened to see of Kenny's passing this morning. I didn't realize that he had moved to Myrtle Beach...my cousin and his family live there too. I always had a great time with Kenny when he was around. He'll be missed. God bless you all.

I met Kenny through a Facebook group and we became friends and would hangout at the same places often. It was just a few weeks ago we played music bingo and shot pool. He was a friendly man and will be missed by us here in Myrtle Beach. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends
