Kerry A. Baumer

Kerry A. Baumer, 86, of Macungie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 14, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospice. He was the loving husband of Jean (Ebert) Baumer. Born in Lancaster on November 13, 1939, Kerry was the son of the late Elmore Jennings and Laura (Heller) Baumer.

Kerry graduated from Allentown High School in 1959. He was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era. He worked at Lehigh Structural Steel for 25 years, last as a template maker and in Quality Control. His hobbies included fishing in Canada and Pulaski, NY, scuba diving, photography, coin collecting and wine making. But his passions were El Caminos, and traveling and dancing with his wife, Jean.

In addition to his wife, surviving are his stepdaughters: Donna Miller of Kutztown, Diane Overton, wife of Chris, of Virginia, and Denise Rader of Florida, and his stepson Dean Miller, husband of Karen, of New Tripoli, his ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Kerry was preceded in death by his first wife Judith (Collins) Baumer, son James Jay Baumer, brother Jennings Baumer and sister Katharine Feldman.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Monday July 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Arlington Memorial Park, 3843 Lehigh St, Whitehall, PA 18052.
