Kriss Holland

Kriss Holland of Bushkill, PA died Friday, Sep. 5th at Lehigh Valley Hospital after a brief fight against neuroendocrine cancer. Born Dec. 6, 1957 in New Jersey, he was a son of the late Rosemarie (Santasiero) and John Holland Sr. Kriss grew up in Lodi, NJ and was employed as a machinist for over 20 years with Teaneck Graphics Corp. in Carlstadt, NJ. Later, he obtained a CDL license and worked for Service Concrete in Sparta, NJ for 10 years. Kriss was currently employed for the last 5 years as a CDL Truck Driver working for Northeast Site Contractors in East Stroudsburg, PA. Kriss was of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and enjoyed listening to Blues and Classic Rock. Kriss proudly showed off his exceptional culinary skills, especially for the holiday family gatherings. Kriss also enjoyed old-time favorites such as Abbott & Costello and The Bowery Boys. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Jr. and William. Surviving are his wife, the former Donna Marie Hanna and a son, Kriss. Sister Ginamarie and husband George Vitrano; Brothers Michael, and David and girlfriend Linda Gisonti. Sister-in-law Judy Holland; Sister-in-law Nancy Ann (Hanna) and husband Mark Tepper; Brother-in-law Frank Hanna and wife Sue. Nieces: Angela Marie (Vitrano) and husband Albie Gonzales; Ginamarie (Holland) and husband Joe Zupko; Krystal (Holland) and husband Dave Pluymers; Ebony (Holland) and husband Nick Everett; Marissa Holland; Mara (Tepper) and husband Raz Mia. Nephews: Anthony Vitrano and fiancée Danielle Fabiano; Andre Vitrano and girlfriend Hannah Van Blarcom; William Holland Jr. and wife Rosemarie; David Holland and wife Melissa; Nikolas Holland; and godson Matthew Tepper. Also, many grand-nieces and grand-nephews and cousins. Best Friends Tony Savio, and Jerry Patane, his online pool-playing and motorcycle associate. Also surviving is Kriss' beloved German Shepherd, Odin. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of William H. Clark Funeral Home in Stroudsburg, PA. Church services will be held Sat. Sep. 20th at 10 am at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, 75 Church St., Franklin, NJ 07416. Luncheon in memory of Kriss will follow at Apulia Risto-Pizza Restaurant, 398-400 State Highway 23, Franklin, 07416. Donations made in Kriss' memory may be directed to Frank Siller's Tunnel to Towers, Wounded Warrior Project, or your local animal shelter.
