Larry R. Adams

Larry R. Adams, 84, of Allentown, passed away peacefully in his home on July 12, 2025. He was the husband of Patricia J. Adams. They would have celebrated 66 years of marriage on July 25 of this year. Born in Hynemansville in Weisenberg Twp., PA, he was the son of the late Amandus and Margaret (Smith) Adams. Larry attended Allentown High School and was employed at the former Phoenix Clothes/Grief Corp. in Allentown for 35 years. Besides spending time with family, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycling, and travel. Larry is survived by his wife and three children, Charles (Joi), Jeffrey (Linda), and Kelly (Paula); Grandsons, Samuel, Gregory, Benjamin, and Jack; Great-Grandchildren, Owen, Gracie, Charlotte, and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by sister, Irene Smith; and brothers, Lee Adams and Rodney Haupt. Larry was predeceased by his stepfather, Paul Haupt, and siblings, Marie, Kenneth, and Gary.
