Laura L. Musser, 69, of Bethlehem, formerly of the Main Line/Berwyn area, passed away at home while in the loving care of her daughter and family on Sunday evening, June 23, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Jonathan G. Musser, with whom she shared many years prior to his passing in 1988.
Born in Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County, Laura was a daughter of the late Benjamin Billela and Mary Jane (Segui) Zielinski. Following her graduation in 1973 from Conestoga High School in Berwyn, she honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Disabled for several years, Laura's family and relationships were her treasures. She touched the lives of many with her great sense of humor and her infectious personality, which lit up the room every time she entered. In her spare time, Laura loved to color and she always looked forward to assisting with duties at her daughter's hair salon. She was a faithful member of Life Church - Nazareth.
Survivors: Laura will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her daughter, Anna Musser and fiancé, Joseph Beavers, with whom she resided; a son, Jason Billela and fiancée, Michelle, of Las Vegas; six grandchildren, Alexis Musser and fiancé, Jacob Lang, Kevin Davis, Donovan, Maddox, Geno and Chloe Billela; a sister, Anna Bertsch and husband, David, of West Chester, PA; two brothers, Michael Billela and wife, Linda, of Swarthmore, PA, and Anthony Billela and wife, Sabrina Ring, of Glenmore, PA; aunt and uncle, Theresa and Johnny Segui; along with nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Jonathan, she was predeceased by a sister, Rhonda Coon, in 2008.
Services: A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 9:30 A.M. in Life Church - Nazareth, 4609 Newburg Road, Nazareth, PA 18064. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday morning from 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. in the church. Burial will be private. Arrangements for Laura's cremation have been entrusted to the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath.
