Lucille Salomon Obituary
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Harry B. and Mabel L. (Steckel) Parks. Lucy was a 1941 graduate of Allentown High School. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper at the former Vogel-Ritt Exterminators and for many years as a clerk in the family-owned Salomon Jewelers in Allentown. Lucy was an active member of the former Zion's Reformed UCC in Allentown. She loved to garden, enjoyed spending time outdoors and took great pride in baking homemade desserts.
Survivors: Daughter, Jennifer S. Kukula and her husband Stanley J. of Forest Hill, Maryland, with whom she resided for the past year; son, Erich E. "Rick" Salomon, II and his wife Linda of Allentown; sister, Louise P. Benda of Williamsport, Maryland; brother, Donald W. Parks and his wife Joyce of Allentown; a multitude of beloved nieces, nephews and their families.
Lucy was also preceded in death by 8 siblings - Bernice C. Huntley, Major Frank G. Parks U.S.M.C. Retired, Harry O. Parks Jr., Warren Parks, Stanley Parks, Robert Parks, William R. Parks and Edwin C. Parks.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations in Lucy's memory may be made to Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley, 1302 N. Sherman Street, Allentown, PA 18109.

Hey Rick and Jennifer sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed your entire family working for them years ago all four of them and I think of you now and then and my time at Solomon jewelers. and I remember her laughing when I worked on your house and played Ronnie Millsap she had a good long life

We were sorry and surprised to read of Lucille´s passing this week. Lucille was a godly woman who set an example of faith and strength. The Lord gave her a long life . Our love and sympathy to Rick and Linda and Rick´s sister.

To the family
We will always remember Lucy. We shared good times at the pond and when our group of ladies met for birthdays at the Olive Garden. A nice person to know. Years have gone by but the memories remain.
