Lydia Hess

Lydia Hess, age 93 of Taylor, PA formerly of Albrightsville, PA passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Oak Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Taylor, PA. Lydia was born in Chur, Switzerland on August 17, 1931, daughter of the late Josef and Elisabeth Camenzind. She was the loving wife of the late Max Hess who preceded her in death on September 12, 2020. Lydia was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Lake Harmony, PA. She had worked as an Executive Secretary for a shipping company in NYC, NY for many years. Lydia is survived by two siblings: Beatrice Ebener and husband Hanspeter and Walter Camenzind and wife Claudine. No services are scheduled at this time. Interment is private and at the convenience of the family in Switzerland.
