Mae Miller Obituary

Mae J. Miller, 88, formerly of Easton, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025. Born September 11, 1936, in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Katherine (James) Boosenberry. Her husband of 43 years, Wallace L. "Wally" Miller, Sr., passed away July 11, 1998. Mae was a nurse's aide for New Eastwood for over 35 years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and bingo. Mae loved the beach. Years ago, Mae had been a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. Mae attended Phillipsburg Alliance Church where she volunteered with the youth ministry. Surviving is a daughter, Wendy L. Ashenfalder and her husband Ted, of Bangor; a son, Wayne L. Miller and his wife Melissa, of Long Pond; a daughter-in-law, Elaine Miller, of Norristown; two sisters, Violet Honey and Nancy Athanasatos, both of Florida; seven grandchildren, four great-grandsons, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Wally, she was predeceased by a son, Wallace L. "Wally" Miller, Jr., a sister, Gladys Beck, and two infant brothers. A graveside service will be held at 11am Monday in Easton Cemetery, 410 N. 10th Street, Easton. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough.
