Maria Poulopoulos Obituary

Maria Poulopoulos, 80, of Parkland Manor passed away on Palm Sunday, April 13th. Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, she was a daughter of the late Ioannis and Stella Romanos. She was a dentist, operating her own dental office for many years. Maria was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a hospital volunteer and also very involved in her home church, Ascension Greek Orthodox in Fairview, New Jersey before coming to the Lehigh Valley. She was a loving mother and grandmother, survived by her sons John and Nicholas Poulopoulos; her two sisters Nota and Lea; and her grandchildren Ethan and Gianni along with extended family. Services: viewing Wednesday evening April 16th from 6-9 p.m. at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Funeral service will be held Thursday the 17th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1607 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. (No viewing Thursday at the church)
