Maryann Albite Obituary

Maryann S. Albite, 84, of East Stroudsburg, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 8, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono. She was the wife of Joseph J. Albite with whom she shared 51 years of marriage. Born on February 17, 1941 in Stockton, NJ, she was one of nine children to the late John and Minnie (Welsh) Suozzo. She worked as an office manager for Kelsey Ford in Lambertville, NJ and Weichel Buick in Stroudsburg; and she and her husband owned and operated the Big A restaurant in Marshalls Creek. Maryann was an amateur radio operator and she enjoyed cooking, baking and crocheting. In addition to her husband, surviving are a sister, Rose Elcavage of Pipersville; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who all lovingly called her "Aunt Lou". A graveside service will take place at Rosemount Cemetery in New Jersey at a later date.. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to AWSOM (Animal Welfare Society of Monroe). Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the William H. Clark Funeral Home in Stroudsburg. William H. Clark Funeral Home, Inc.
