Megan LaBuda Obituary

Megan E. LaBuda, 45, of Perkasie passed away peacefully in her home on July 4, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 3, 1980 in Allentown, Megan's vibrant spirit and warm heart enriched the lives of those around her from the very beginning. A proud graduate of Pennridge High School, Megan's determination and joyful approach to life were evident in all her endeavors. Early in her career, Megan worked at Clemens supermarket in Perkasie. She loved being out in the community and interacting with customers. Then her passion for helping others led Megan to a very fulfilling career at the Rockhill Mennonite Community in Sellersville, where she dedicated over two decades of service. Working as an aide in activities and fine dining, Megan's presence was a beacon of light for both residents and staff. Megan also spent time as a volunteer. At LifePath, she chaired a fundraiser where she was honored with the title of the first honorary ambassador of LifePath, a testament to her impact on the community. Megan had a passion for exercising, walking, biking and especially bowling. She also loved travel and found joy vacationing in the Outer Banks, Myrtle Beach and Orlando. However, it was her family and friends that brought Megan the greatest joy. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence could light up any room. At birth, Megan was automatically granted a free pass to heaven. She will be deeply missed but comforting to know she is now resting peacefully. Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Collette (Phillips) Ostertag and stepfather David Ostertag of Perkasie, father Robert LaBuda and stepmother Angel LaBuda of New Hope; brother Robert LaBuda and wife April LaBuda, Dylan Ostertag all of Sellersville; stepbrother William Leypoldt and wife Laura Leypoldt of Pennsburg and stepsister Amy Leypoldt of Quakertown. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and many friends. Services: A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Megan's arrangements are entrusted to Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem, PA. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Megan's name to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2024 Lehigh Street, Suite 100, Allentown, PA 18103.
