Michael J. Bartek

Michael J. Bartek, 72, of Bethlehem died Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was the beloved husband of Dawn Robin (Black) Bartek for 33 years until her death in 2021. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Charles and Jacqueline (LaRose) Bartek. After graduation from Liberty High School in 1971, Michael began his career as a steel worker at Bethlehem Steel where he was employed until they closed, he then was employed in the water department for the City of Bethlehem where he remained until his retirement. Michael treasured the time spent with his family. He was a devoted husband and father. Survivors: Daughter, Amber Dawn Bartek; son, Michael Zachary Bartek both of Bethlehem; sisters, Diane wife of Thomas Herstich of Bethlehem, Mary Ann wife of David Green of Moore township, brother, David Bartek and his wife Mariann of Bethlehem; sister-in-law, nieces; nephews. Michael was also greeted in Heaven by all of his beloved dogs. Services: Funeral Services are private. There are no calling hours. Interment is private.
