Michael F. Falcone Jr.

Michael F. Falcone, Jr., 89, of Easton, PA passed away Friday, January 17th, at his residence surrounded by his family. Michael was born in Bangor, PA on September 9, 1935, a son of the late Michael F. Falcone, Sr. and Grace (Capobianco) Falcone. He was the husband of Virginia "Gin" A. (Cappadona) Falcone. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary last April. Michael was a 1954 graduate of Bangor High School. He was employed in the shipping department at the former Maier's Bakery in Easton, PA, for 25 years, retiring in 1996. He was a member of the former Roseto Drum and Bugle Corp., and enjoyed cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and attending his granchildren's activities. Michael was a member of St. Rocco's Roman Catholic Church in Martins Creek, PA. Michael was a loving and caring husband to his wife Virginia "Gin" and father to his children, son Michael F. Falcone, III, daughter Jessica Ann Holzer, wife of Richard, a sister Mary Louise Ortoski, and three grandchildren Stephanie Herrick, and Marissa and Alec Holzer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 22nd at St. Rocco's Roman Catholic Church, 6658 School St., Martins Creek, PA. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 22nd at James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, 6602 Alpha Ave., Martins Creek, PA. Burial will be held at Church Hill Cemetery, Martins Creek, PA. Online condolences may be offered at palmerifuneralhome.com.
