My deepest condolences to the Heffner family. Growing up in the same neighborhood and working with Al Michael's Concessions was an experience to be remembered.Mike was a good friend and we shared a mutual admiration of Rock music and the band Rush.We grew up in a neighborhood of good people and old fashioned family values.Mike's fondness for Halloween and Fireworks were admired in our neighborhood. Lots of good memories of a gentleman who was always an entrepreneur and a gentleman. May the Good Lord bless you and your family.Amen

I have known Mike for many years, probably since the late 80s. My family and his went on many camping trips together and I fondly remember "train night", which was on Wednesday night at his then home in Bethlehem, where we would work on his model layout, drink some beers and have some laughs. I also spent time with him working in his pizza trailer at local fairs and cooking many pounds of chicken wings for the many parties he threw throughout the years. He was a great friend to me and I´ll remember the great old days until we meet again. My prayers go or to Mr. & Mrs. H, Tim, Dave, Gail and the rest of his extended family. God be with you all during this trying time.

My deepest sympathy for your loss.
I went to school with Mike and worked with him through high school in Brenda Michael's french fry stand. I'll never forget also working with him in his parent's garage, helping him with a haunted house he was building for trick or treat. Or hanging out with him, Joey, and John. We ran into each other here and there over the years, most recently when I was with the Northampton Post Office and delivered a package to his home. A wonderful surprise since I did not know that he lived there. One of the kindest people I've ever met. I know he will be greatly missed by all!

So sorry to hear about Mike, we grew up on the south side of Allentown as kids. We had a great time growing up together until they moved to Northampton.

Mike was one of a kind. A true friend I will deeply miss. So many great memories. The whistle that was like Dad's (I will never forget him doing that at Dad's service and everyone turning their heads in shock), him selling tickets at Reaper's one night when we were really busy (he told me it was his first and last time), the great Pizza he made when on S & S, our many talks, the list could go on and on. Life won't be the same without him.
