Nancy Anderson Obituary

Nancy V. Anderson, 63, of Richmond Township passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Barry M. Anderson, they celebrated 42 years of marriage on September 17th. She was the daughter of the late Robert Levan and Helen M. Zercher Levan. Nancy was a 1980 graduate of Oley Valley High School. She had been employed by East Penn Manufacturing, Lyons, PA for 44 years as an administrative assistant, prior to her retirement. Nancy loved the outdoors and was a member of Perry Township Game Association where she helped instruct Women on Target at the club. She was an avid hunter of deer and turkey, and every year she loved to go to her tree stand on her friends farm. Nancy and Barry always looked forward to their annual trip to Colorado to go hiking and watching wildlife. Also on their trip they would attend drag racing in Denver with their friends. Her other interests were flower gardening and cooking traditional home-made meals with her family. She will be missed by her dog Oakley and cat Torquey. Nancy is survived by her husband Barry, son Chase, husband of Kelsie (Odhner) Anderson and sibling's Robert Levan, Dennis Levan, Donald Levan, Ann (Levan) Clemens, and nieces and nephews. Also in-laws Timothy and Doreen O'Neil and niece Erin Wolf. It was Nancy's wish that there would be no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the McGlinn Cancer Institute, P. O. Box 16052, Reading, Pa 19612 To plant Memorial Trees in memory of Nancy V.
